OPEN ALL YEAR CARAVAN PARK WITH FEBRUARY AVAILABILITY

We're open all year at Long Hazel Park with availability throughout February 2025. If you're looking to get away after Christmas and New Year and explore the county of Somerset in 2025, we have fully serviced hardstanding pitches available for touring caravans and motorhomes. Our shower block is winter heated and we're in a great location for lovely warm village inns; high quality farm to fork restaurants and fantastic walks across Somerset and Dorset.

Organise your most important date of the year with a romantic mini-break in Somerset. We're open all year with room for the 14th of February on our touring park for caravans and motorhomes, or a cosy weekend away in one of our holiday lodges for hire.

Snowdrop Flowers

Watch the snowdrops arrive in February and camp amongst our own snowdrop field, planted in 2023, which bloom amongst the touring pitches at this time of year.

 

There are also snowdrop festivals across Somerset, with Shepton Mallet's famous snowdrop festival from 20 - 22 February 2025. We'd recommend catching our local bus from Sparkford High Street (100 yards) and exploring Kilver Court Gardens and the Mulberry Factory Shop at the same time!

There's two horse racing events this February at the Wincanton Racecourse. As one of the Jockey Club racecourses, you will be guaranteed a great day out with track-side views. Experience some of the best young horses trained by local trainer, Paul Nicholls. We're the nearest five star caravan park to the Wincanton racecourse.

Visit the new Hauser & Wirth art exhibition "An Uncommon Thread", running from 8 February until 27 April. The exhibition will feature 10 contemporary artists living and working in the UK.

Hauser & Wirth, situated in nearby Bruton is one of Somerset's most talked about days out. The gallery is open each week from Thursday to Sunday and garden is open from Wednesday to Sunday. The gardens at Hauser & Wirth are well worth visiting in all seasons, designed by renowned garden designer Piet Oudolf.

We are open all year, with hardstandings suitable for all weather conditions, even if we end up with snow!

Enjoy a bracing walk around one of the most undiscovered parts of Somerset and take in some of the West Country's most important history. Nearby Cadbury Hillfort is known to be the gateway to the South West and is thought to have been occupied by King Arthur in 470-580 BC. Take a look at our history of Somerset and learn about the wonderful surroundings:
